Early Childhood Education Program (ECE)

The Early Childhood Education program is offered through the Faculty of Applied Health and Community Studies. Applicants to Sheridan's Early Childhood Education program must apply through the Ontario College Application service at www.ontariocolleges.ca and pay the $95 application fee. You may apply as a part time student or a full time student. Official transcripts must be submitted to ontariocolleges.ca to show you meet the admission requirements of the program.

The core courses of the Early Childhood Education program are offered in-class only.

Students in the program who have paid their fees will have access to course enrollment approximately three weeks before the start of term.  Students create their personalized timetable using their online enrollment tool in myStudent Centre,

The total number of courses to complete the ECE program is 23. The duration of the ECE program for students registered as full time students is 4 semesters or two academic years.

Part time students are limited to enrolling in 1,2 or 3 courses per term. Therefore the time it takes to complete the program extends depending on the number of courses taken per semester.

To view the admission requirements, program description and course information visit the program page on our website, http://www.sheridancollege.ca.

Course offerings will be available Monday to Friday during the day and evening at the Trafalgar Road Campus (Oakville) and the Davis Campus (Brampton).
