Dropping a Course/Class
Prior to dropping a course you are encouraged to discuss your options and the implications of dropping the course with a Student Advisor in the Student Advisement Centre located in Room B104 at the Trafalgar Campus, Room A247 at the Hazel McCallion Campus and in Room B230 at the Davis Campus. Dropping a course may affect your progress through your program.
During the first ten days of the semester students are permitted to drop courses online. Program restrictions apply. Visit myOTR online for more information on dropping courses.
Students are responsible for ensuring that they are enrolled in all their required courses for each term. Students will not receive a refund for a dropped course, will also have to cover the costs of taking a course at a later date and it may impact your Financial Aid.
Students who wish to drop a course after the tenth day of the term must do so in person by filling out a withdrawal form available at the Student Advisement Centre. Please see the Academic Calendar for the last day to drop a class without Academic Penalty.
