OSAP Tuition Deposit
Students who apply for assistance from the Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) may be eligible to defer payment of fees until receipt of their OSAP funds. All OSAP students who wish to defer their tuition fees must submit their OSAP application at https://www.ontario.ca/page/osap-ontario-student-assistance-program and make a non-refundable $500.00 tuition deposit to Sheridan by the deadline specified on their fee Invoice. Without this payment students will not have access to their timetable.
The non-refundable $500 tuition deposit applies to one academic year. It covers three terms of the same academic year for the same academic program. If students change their program within the academic year another $500 tuition deposit would apply.
Students are reminded to choose “yes” in their response to the question on the OSAP application which asks if they would like their OSAP funds to be re-directed to their institution to pay their tuition fees owing.
Students who are completing three semesters in one academic year (September to August) may obtain a form from the Financial Aid to extend their Fall/Winter OSAP application.
